Would you like the opportunity to work with young people?
For most of them it's the only time in the week they will step inside a church building.
They are looking for a fun time with friends - someone to beat at pool - someone who will listen to them - food! - someone who will take an interest in them - more food! - someone who cares.
Up to 50 children are coming each week and we desperately need helpers with a real heart for this kind of work.
 Is that you?

Come along and find out for yourself on Fridays at Grace Chapel, New Square 7.30 -9.30pm.

Or contact Toyin  Toyin,  or John Bown  for more info.

All are welcome to attend this exciting day seminar where we will equip you with knowledge, understanding and some practical skills in the field of mental well-being in a Christian context.  The day will be of interest to those in leadership and pastoral care.
Material is biblically based & draws on best practice from the worlds of psychiatry, psychology and church ministry.

What is mental well-being?  Why do things go wrong? Tools for staying well.  The future of the church and mental health care. The cost of caring.  Supporting people with mental health problems in church life.  Working with partnerships.  Mental health and Christian spirituality.
