Thursday, 28 January 2016

As we look to serve the poor and save the lost in 2016, we feel extremely aware of our complete dependency on God. This week, staff in Bradford have been coming in early and staying late to cry out to God for the year ahead.
Today, Thursday 28 January, we are really excited to be holding a 24 hour prayer-athon. Many of us will be fasting and staying awake late into the night (and even the following morning!) to pray together.
Will you pray with us? You don’t need to be here in Bradford to stand with us in prayer over these 24 hours. We will be praying for:
  • 198 new churches will join us on our mission to open debt centres, job clubs, release groups and our new initiative, CAP Life Skills.
  • 1,000 people come to know Jesus.
  • £3.5 million in one off income.
  • People who need our help to find the strength to contact us.
  • 2,850 people to go debt free this year.
  • 400 people to find work this year.
  • CAP Life Skills to have a fantastic first year.

Knowing that your prayers are joining ours is such an encouragement as we acknowledge that, without God, we can do nothing – but that we can do all things through him who gives us strength.
Thank you for your support!
