Those who know her will tell you that Jane Bentley makes exceedingly good cakes! So you will be interested to hear that Jane and her friend Liz are hosting a coffee (and cake – lots of it!) morning at Liz's house in aid of MacMillan Cancer, hoping particularly that the money will go towards the new wing at the Royal.
The coffee morning will be on Friday, 25th September from 10-12. It will take place at 48, Houfton Road, Bolsover, S44 6SG. There’s lots of parking opposite and the bus number 82 stops right outside her house!
They are doing a raffle with a variety of prizes ranging from bottles of wine, body lotions etc, to vouchers from a range of local businesses including restaurants and hairdressers. People can get raffle tickets from Jane in advance if they wish. We’re also taking orders for cakes, and if anyone wants to order any cakes and make a donation, then we are more than happy to bake some to order!
