St Andrew’s 60th Anniversary Celebration




This year marks the 60th Anniversary of the dedication of the St Andrew’s Church building, Chesterfield.  To celebrate, a number of events are being held.  The second of these events is a social evening to mark the birth of the Scottish poet Robert Burns.  You are invited to attend this celebration evening which will be held in:

St Andrew’s United Reformed Church

on Friday 13 February 2015 at 7.00pm

Price:  £12.50 per person

Cheques made payable to “St Andrew’s United Reformed Church

The evening will follow the traditional pattern of a Burns Night including appropriate (non alcoholic) toasts.   The menu, provided by an external caterer, is shown below.

Special Dietary requirements can be catered for.

Please provide names of those attending, including any special dietary requirements, to reach Ian Gordon no later than 6 February 2015.

Contributions to the evening’s entertainment are requested.  Recitations, readings, or songs, however, items do not need to be Burns related.  If you are able to provide an item of entertainment please inform Ian Gordon who will prepare a programme for the evening.

Please note:  No alcohol is to be consumed on Church premises.  The non alcoholic toasts will be provided but please bring your own soft drinks for consumption during the evening.
