We’d like to remind you of the upcoming
School of Discipleship
that we at Inspire are running in Chesterfield over the coming year.

The School of Discipleship begins with an Introductory Retreat Day on Saturday 1 November from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Holmebrook Valley Family Centre. The retreat is free but you need to register in advance please.
Following that, there are two streams of teaching which will run on four Friday evenings and Saturday mornings over the coming year:

  2. Teaching Retreats are for anyone and everyone! We will be helping one another to abide more deeply with God so that we can live more missionally in the world.

Hi Everyone,
  • John Revill asked me yesterday to invite as many people as possible to Church In The Peak, at New Street Centre, to our meeting this evening! Apologies for the extremely short notice!!
  • If you're able to come, we've just learned that Bryan Pill of Mission Aviation Fellowship is paying a fleeting visit and is able to join and share with us this evening.
  • You can see more about him at the following link -
  • If you're able to make it, it will be an evening of real blessing and encouragement.
Bless you all and apologies once again for the short notice, but we've only just learned of it ourselves!

A final reminder – that this Tuesday, October 14th, 7.30, we meet at The Saints Coffee House upstairs to hear Canon Paul Morris of Workplace Chaplaincy Derbyshire and to meet some of our existing local chaplains. We will be exploring together what additional opportunities there are for chaplaincy and who might help to meet those challenges –particularly lay people. Paul Morris will be offering training to volunteers.
This is a general meeting, not limited at all as to who may come.
