Thank you to everyone who made it to St Thomas' last night for the AGM of both Street Pastors and CTfC. You are an amazing group of people and a joy to work with. We as the Church in Chesterfield are achieving so much together by God's grace and may we continue to know his wisdom & provision as we reach out to do even more. Visiting speaker, Martin Gage from Christian Aid, encouraged us to support the 'Enough food for everyone IF' campaign which will lobby the leaders of the G8 to reconsider their approach to dealing with poverty in our world. To find out more and to register your support visit This is what Martin thought: "Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to speak at the meeting last night. I was very pleased with the response. But I also have to say what wonderful meetings (I sat in on half an hour of the street pastors agm) – attendance, atmosphere, content, enthusiasm, presence of God…… The only way I could describe it to colleagues this morning was “exhilarating!” Such an encouragement. Thank you again, All good wishes, Martin"
