ADVERTISE YOUR CHURCH EVENT ON CTFC WEBSITE
We would love this website to represent 'the Church' in Chesterfield and to give a flavour of all the wonderful things christians are doing in our town. If you have an event you would like to publicise, send the details to jacky@ctfchesterfield.org.uk and we will add it to our page and calendar.
PRAYER AND PRAISE TOGETHER AT GRACE CHAPEL
A big thank you to Pastor Toyin and everyone at Grace Chapel for hosting this months CTfC regional prayer meeting yesterday. About 35 christians gathered to pray for the Markham Road area. The evening was a celebration of all that God is already doing through his church in that area but also reaching towards several new projects that are being proposed. We are looking to launch Starburst for primary age children once a month on a Sunday afternoon at The Ragged School and an evening drop in cafe for youth at Grace Chapel. Watch this space for details of the next prayer meeting in the Newbold area at the end of March.
150 MEN ATTEND STRATEGIC DAY OF PRAYER AND PRAISE AT WHITT MOOR METHODIST LAST SATURDAY
Feedback from the CVM day of Prayer and Praise last Saturday at Whittington Moor Methodist Church suggests it was an enjoyable and productive day. Attended by 150 men who were treated to worship led by Graham Kendrick including two very new songs that he has written which are not yet on general release and encouragement from Carl Beech of CVM. There is talk of making this an annual mens event.
