Registered manager required for care
home
and associated domiciliary care
service
Peak Care is a service providing care to vulnerable elderly
people within the formal setting of a 31 bed residential care home and to
others in their own homes and apartments in the local community
We are looking for a manager who will work with the staff to
ensure the smooth running of the home and provide the best possible care for
all service users. A successful
candidate will have the support of a highly motivated team who will together
deliver excellent care with dignity and sensitivity to residents and their
families.
The salary will be £24-£30k with 28 days annual leave
including bank holidays. The person appointed will be expected to work to the
needs of the service, achieving compliance with CQC standards and legislation.
Appropriate qualifications and proven experience is
required.
A nursing qualification is advantageous and training to
level 4 or 5 in management and leadership is available and the candidate may
work as a deputy manager until qualifications are achieved.
The manager should be a positive role model and have a very
visible presence within the organisation.
They should be a good communicator and organiser, be professional and
quality driven. We expect high standards of person centred care with individual
care plans where service users can make informed choices and be as independent
as possible whilst always encompassing residents safety.
We also require a motivated care
assistant, preferably experienced with relevant NVQ qualifications
