MONTHLY PRAYER MEETING IS TOMORROW AT CENTRAL PENTECOSTAL CHURCH

Everyone is welcome to come along to Central Pentecostal Church 7.30pm Tuesday 26th March as we gather to pray for the Newbold area.  Please join us as we pray for the people who live, work and worship in Newbold.

CAN YOU KEEP A SECRET?

Have you ever thought you would really like to have been there when one of these 'flash mob' events happened?  Giving you the heads up that you can be right in the middle of one right here in Chesterfield this Easter weekend.  Just after midnight, as Easter Sunday begins, singers from the Chesterfield Philharmonic Choir will appear at the top of Corporation St and burst into the Hallelujah Chorus and then merge back into the crowd.  It promises to be quite a spectacle.  If you are a singer and you already know the piece join the choir for a quick run through behind Central Methodist Church at 23.30 and you could take part.  What greater way could there be to begin our Easter celebrations than to declare over Chesterfield that Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords for ever and ever! Amen

If you would like to be part of the choir leading the singing for the Procession of Witness on Good Friday there is a practice this Friday 22nd March 7.30pm at Central Methodist Church.  The two songs are 'God So Loved the World' and 'Amazing Grace'.

GOOD FRIDAY CHESTERFIELD PROCESSION OF WITNESS

If you are available please come and join us for the traditional procession of witness this Good Friday.  We meet at 11am outside the Town Hall.  The procession will follow a large wooden cross to New Square, along Vicar Lane to St James Square and into Rykneld Square.  Those who wish to participate are invited into St Mary's and All Saints for a time of worship.

This year would you bring your palm cross to carry in the procession.  We will be stopping to sing 'God So Loved the World' and 'Amazing Grace' along the route.

The more people in the procession the bigger the impact we'll have so please come and join in if you can.
